Your car may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on a loan secured against it.
You keep the keys while you repay.
The loan is secured on your vehicle with a Bill of Sale, but you carry on driving it as normal. Ownership is yours again once the loan is paid off.
- Fixed weekly or monthly payments from your debit card
- Settle early at any time for a rebate on interest; settlement quotes include one month's interest
- A soft credit search to get your quote, with no effect on your credit score
- No hidden fees for taking out your loan
Understanding your estimate
What the numbers mean.
Your own quote shows these same figures for your loan, with a full repayment schedule, before you commit to anything.
- Representative APR
- The APR covers interest and any other charges, so you can compare loans like for like. The representative APR is the rate at least 51% of people who take out this loan are expected to get.
- Annual interest rate (fixed)
- Interest is worked out on a fixed-sum basis, so the total is set when you sign. It stays the same for the whole loan, and a late payment does not add extra interest.
- Total repayable
- What you borrow plus all the interest, if you pay every instalment on time for the full term. A longer term makes each payment smaller but raises the total.
- Weekly or monthly
- Choose whichever matches your payday. Payments are taken from your debit card as a recurring payment.
- Settling early
- You can settle at any time and get a rebate on interest, so the sooner you settle, the less you repay. Early settlement quotes include one month's interest, and the early repayment snapshot shows what you would have paid at different points.
- Your right to withdraw
- You can withdraw within 14 days of the agreement being made. You would repay what you borrowed plus interest for the days you had the money.
Borrow responsibly. We only lend when the repayments are affordable for you. Our service is not advised, so if money is a worry you can get free, impartial help from MoneyHelper, StepChange or Citizens Advice.
